Challenges of fulfillment companies

One warehouse, many owners: an ordinary WMS was not built for this

General warehouse software is designed for a single owner. A fulfillment company manages separate rules, reports and invoices for each customer.

01

Stock mix-up risk

Products of different customers can sit side by side on the same rack. A product going to the wrong customer creates both a trust problem and a compensation problem.

multi-customer stock
02

Each customer's own SLA

One customer wants shipment in 24 hours while another expects same-day shipping. A system running on a single rule set does not see this difference; SLA breaches are tracked by hand.

customer-level SLA
03

The hassle of service-based billing

Storage, picking, packing and transport are priced separately. Service breakdowns kept in Excel turn into hours of invoice preparation at month end.

04

Lack of visibility for the customer

The owner wants to see their own stock, orders and performance instantly. Waiting for a report by phone or e-mail weakens trust.

no customer portal
05

Slow onboarding

For a new customer, product definition, rule setup and integration can take a long time. Revenue does not start in the meantime, and the opportunity can go to a competitor.

lengthy setup
06

Each customer has a different carrier and system

Each customer may have their own carrier contract, marketplace connection and ERP. Managing all of them in one warehouse increases the integration load.

The HaROS Solution

One warehouse, a separate virtual space for each customer

HaROS sets up a virtual compartment for each owner without changing the physical warehouse. Stock and rules work separately per customer. Your operations team manages everything from a single panel; service-based billing is on the roadmap.

  • Customer-level stock separation — at shelf, location or batch level
  • A customer-specific rule engine: picking strategy, packing, SLA duration
  • Automatic service-based billing — storage, picking, packing, transport (on the roadmap)
  • A live portal and reports for each customer; no need to ask for information by phone

Frequently asked questions

Does the stock of several customers get physically mixed in the same warehouse?

No. HaROS separates each customer with a virtual compartment at shelf, location or batch level. At every picking and putaway, the operation does not complete until the correct customer's stock is scanned. Even when a shelf is shared, stock does not get mixed.

Can we define a separate SLA and rules for each customer?

Yes. Picking strategy, packing standard, shipping SLA and carrier preference are defined per customer. The system flags breach risk in advance; no manual tracking is needed.

How does service-based billing work?

Service-based billing is on the roadmap and is not live yet. The goal: services such as storage (m²/day), picking (line/carton) and packing are measured automatically and broken down per customer, and at month end invoice line items are pulled from the system instead of manual Excel preparation.

How can we onboard a new customer quickly?

The time depends on the number of products and integration needs. Our aim is to shorten it. Product definition, rule setup and basic integrations are accelerated with ready templates.

Can our customers see their own stock and reports?

A separate customer portal for each owner can be defined on a project basis; stock status and order flow are reported. A full-featured self-service portal is on the roadmap.
