An alternative to global suites that knows the region
Global supply chain suites and the retail modules of ERPs are mature products. But when the subject is local regulation, local marketplaces and adoption without replacing the ERP, HaROS offers a different path. Below you will find an open comparison, with its pros and cons.
In brief
In complex operations spread across many countries, global suites offer depth and maturity. For companies operating in Türkiye, MENA and Europe that want e-Invoice, İTS and local marketplace connections ready-made, HaROS is a less risky and more region-appropriate choice. Your existing ERP (SAP, Oracle, Logo, Nebim, Mikro, etc.) stays in place and modules go live step by step.
Three points where global suites strain retailers
This does not mean the products are bad; the problem is about regional needs and the transition process. Most evaluations come down to these three headings.
Regional regulation does not come ready-made
e-Invoice, İTS and Trendyol/Hepsiburada operations often do not come as standard in global products; a local partner or additional development is usually required.
A big-bang cutover, a multi-month project
Moving to a suite is often long, risky and costly. The obligation to replace the existing ERP is senior management's most frequent objection.
High cost, heavy setup
License, consulting and integration items grow disproportionately for mid-sized organizations. Small teams struggle to manage such a heavy product.
HaROS and global suites
The seven headings operations managers and purchasing committees ask about most.
| Dimension | HaROS | Global supply chain suites | ERP retail modules |
|---|---|---|---|
| Local regulation (e-Invoice · İTS) | Ready-made integration | Usually a partner or additional development | Usually a partner or additional development |
| Local marketplace and carrier integration | 100+ ready integrations | Usually through a partner | Usually through a partner |
| Adoption model | Module by module, set up on top of the ERP | Mostly a platform replacement, a big-bang project | Mostly part of an ERP project |
| AI positioning | Built into the platform | Varies by product | Varies by product |
| Module structure | One platform, one data layer | Deep WMS/OMS/TMS | ERP modules |
| Multi-country global operation maturity | Türkiye, MENA and Europe | Very strong | Very strong |
| Regional team and Turkish-language support | Yes | Varies by local partner or office | Varies by local partner or office |
The comparison reflects the general positioning of product categories; it does not evaluate a specific product, and may differ by product and project. "Very strong" is the competitors' genuine advantage: these suites lead in global scale and multi-country operations. We can verify the table together with your own requirements list.
What do the differences in the table mean in practice?
Module-by-module adoption, without replacing the ERP
HaROS does not replace your existing ERP, it is set up on top. Ready-made integrations exist for SAP, Oracle, Logo, Nebim, Mikro, Vega, Uyumsoft, Obase, Hitit, Paraşüt and Sentez. Modules go live one by one, so you do not carry the risk of a single big cutover. The worry of changing systems during busy periods such as Black Friday or 11.11 disappears.
A product that knows the region, growing scale
e-Invoice (via your integrator), İTS, Trendyol and Hepsiburada come with ready-made integrations; courier (KEP) and MENA customs processes are integrated on a project basis. In global products these are often left to a partner or additional development; compliance with a new regulation is delayed and costs accumulate.
AI built into the platform
Demand forecasting, automatic allocation and anomaly detection are in the platform infrastructure.
One vendor, one data layer
Stock, orders, customers and products sit on HaROS Data Fabric (a single data layer) as real-time, consistent data. Picking a separate tool for each job means four vendors, four integrations and four separate data islands. With HaROS you have a single account manager and a single contract.
Who is HaROS for, and who is a global suite for?
HaROS is a better fit when:
- You operate in Türkiye, MENA and Europe and want local regulation to come ready-made
- You want to add modules one by one without replacing your existing ERP
- You are a multi-channel or multi-warehouse retailer
- Your local marketplace and carrier operations are heavy (Trendyol, Hepsiburada, local carriers)
- Your priority is a quick return on investment and low transition risk
A global suite may be a better fit when:
- You manage a highly complex global supply chain across dozens of countries
- Your existing investment is entirely tied to a single global ecosystem
- Being a leader in analyst reports (Gartner/Forrester) is a mandatory criterion in your procurement process
- You have already planned a multi-year, large-budget transformation program
Module by module, without a big-bang cutover
Your ERP stays in place; HaROS is set up on top and goes live module by module. The timeline is planned together in the discovery phase; the transition proceeds in this order:
Discovery & integration
Requirements analysis, ERP/marketplace/carrier connections, data mapping.
First module setup & test
The first module (usually WMS or OMS) is set up in a test environment and becomes ready to go live.
Pilot & validation
Pilot run with the field team, RF/barcode flows and channel synchronization tests.
Rollout and close support
All locations go live. The system is closely monitored and a success-criteria report is presented to management.

Frequently asked questions
Is it as deep as global suites?
Global suites have a depth built over years in multi-country and complex operations; we openly acknowledge that. HaROS combines depth with the region's needs (local regulation, local marketplaces and carriers) and module-by-module adoption without replacing the ERP. You get the depth you need and do not carry unnecessary weight.
Do we need to replace our existing ERP (SAP/Oracle)?
No. HaROS does not replace your ERP, it is set up on top. Ready-made integrations exist for SAP, Oracle, Logo, Nebim, Mikro, Vega, Uyumsoft, Obase, Hitit, Paraşüt and Sentez. You take modules live one by one; risk is managed step by step.
How long does the transition take?
We do not give a fixed duration; scope, integration density and number of locations determine the time. In the discovery phase we produce a realistic timeline together. Because we proceed module by module, operations are not interrupted; after the first module goes live, the other modules are added in the same way.
Do local requirements such as e-Invoice, KEP and İTS come ready-made?
e-Invoice, e-Archive and e-Waybill are triggered in HaROS and issued automatically through your integrator; İTS, Trendyol and Hepsiburada are ready-made integrations. KEP and MENA customs processes are integrated according to the project.
